After washing with Force Gloss Shampoo, squeeze out excess water and spread the conditioner along the mid-lengths and ends, keeping it off the roots. The formula works in layers. Behentrimonium and cetrimonium chloride land first, neutralising the static charge left by shampoo so the cuticle stops fighting the comb. Glycolic acid keeps the whole system slightly acidic, which encourages those cuticle scales to lie flat, and a flat cuticle is exactly what produces visible shine. Marineplex and the hydrolysed rice bran and soy proteins then fill the microscopic gaps on the fibre surface, so hair feels denser and less porous. Finally the fatty alcohols, shea butter, coconut oil and Crambe abyssinica oil lay down a thin conditioning film that locks in the slip, while staying light enough that fine hair keeps its movement.
